Is This The Best PCI Sound Card for DOS? (Yamaha XG YMF724)
The Yamaha YMF724 is a cheapish $30-40 sound card. It can be the perfect DOS sound card for certain systems, but you will have some compatibility issues without the right hardware. If you want one I would recommend a motherbboard that supports SBLINK for the best experience. The sound is perfect when it works though, my only complaint is the OPL synth is a bit quiet.
