I haven't played all of these games, but I have heard of them. Many are masterpieces that you can play for very cheap! Here are a bit about them/my recommendations in order of appearance if you're interested:
Stardew Valley: farm life simulation role-playing game
Terraria: action-adventure sandbox game
Doki Doki Literature Club: visual novel, psychological horror (very scary)
Omori: I highly recommend this game to older, more mature players. The game has a great story and amazing characters.
Five Nights at Freddy's: all games in the series are horror games
Undertale: Undertale and Deltarune (made by the same maker) are 2 of my favorite RPGs. I highly recommend them to players 13+
Dead Plate: restaurant tycoon themed rpg horror game with visual novel elements
Helltaker: An indie puzzle-adventure game with dating-sim elements. If you like pretty demon ladies, this game is for you I guess.
Bendy and the Ink Machine: survival horror game
Needy Streamer Overload: Psychological horror and visual novel in which you date a needy streamer lol
Celeste: narrative-driven platform game
Hollow Knight: If you are up for a challenge and like 2D action-adventure games, you have to play this game.
Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning: horror game
Little Nightmares: puzzle-platform horror adventure game
Cuphead: A run and gun game in which you mainly fight challenging bosses. You can play with 2 players or 1.
Ori and the Blind Forest: Platform-adventure game. There is a sequel to this game, too.
Among Us: I'm sure you're familiar with this game, but it's an online, multiplayer social deduction game.
Stumble Guys: multiplayer battle royale, obstacle course game
Cult of the Lamb: strategy, action-adventure (I believe)
One Shot: A puzzle-adventure game that I've heard is very good.
Friday Night Funkin': rhythm game
Minecraft: Again, I'm sure you know about it, but it's a sandbox game.
