It's no secret that grocery prices are high, so how can you save money on thanksgiving dinner and still enjoy all your favorite dishes? Well the best way to save money on thanksgiving dinner is to cook everything from scratch which I show you how to do step by step on this video. Our family raises a large garden every year, and one of the benefits of that is that we have all of the food to make a huge Thanksgiving dinner for our family for basically nothing because it all comes from our pantry or our garden. For this large family thanksgiving dinner, I only spent $25 dollars at the grocery store mostly on things we could've lived without for this meal like mushrooms and cranberries, and it fed our family of seven for many meals.
If you're not currently raising a garden, don't worry, you can still save a LOT of money just by cooking everything from scratch, but if you can work towards being more self sufficient with your food by gardening and preserving, you can save a ton of money on your groceries and take control of your food supply.
