Epic 2 - Session 1: Building a Badge component for a UI kit with Storybook
I'm a dev with ~10 years of professional experience and I've worked with React for more than 5 years iirc. I'm building an application as I would in a real team based on tasks and designs. The app has desktop and mobile designs. It will be covered with tests and documented with Storybook. I also use a professional Git workflow called Trunk-Based Development.
Today I’ll start a new user story: The project list. This is a bit more complex than the sidebar navigation that I built last week since it fetches data from an API. But today I have to do some simple preparation first that includes creating a page container and a Badge component for the UI kit.
This app will be part of my upcoming React Job Simulator where you'll be able to continue working on this app as if it was your first job as a React dev. You can find a waitlist here: https://profy.dev/waitlist
My plan is to make this an (almost) daily thing until the app is done. The usual time is around 9 or 9:30 am CEST.
