Search For a Place
Steps To Search For a Place:
Open Google Maps. Type an address or name of a place. Press
Enter or click Search . If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you won't see the magnifying glass. Search results appear as red and yellow markers on the map. The larger icons show top results.
Optional:
If you search for a type of place, like restaurants, you can filter your results using the drop-down menus below the search box.
