SAP SuccessFactors Integration, especially with SAP HCM, is our topic for the 11th video of the "SAP HXM Mornings" series about digital HR with SAP.
This is a series of short videos about the SAP HCM/HXM solution portfolio with SuccessFactors and SAP HCM at its centre. The videos cover big picture topics like digital HR strategy with SAP, Roadmap and Architecture as well as special features, innovations, ideas and pitfalls.
We often hear complaints that integration between SAP HCM on-premise and SAP SuccessFactors HXM is very complicated. Is this really the case? And if so: why?
In this video, we discuss questions like:
Could and should integration eb more advanced than it is at this point in time?
Does it have to be complicated or is it only complicated, because we want to use all the options at once and SAP just offers many more options for SuccessFactors than most other vendors?
What do we compare with? We can't compare real projects in SuccessFactors with Marketing slides from other vendors that don't have the same independant and outspoken eco-system SAP has, where you can get real world information from.
At the end of the day, we need to acknowldge that integration is still one of the most interesting challenges in a diverse IT landscape and we should be wary of anybody, who's playing it down.
