In this tutorial, we'll learn to use the SQL aggregate functions i.e. COUNT, SUM, and AVG. These functions are used to perform the calculations on multiple rows of a specific column of a table.

The SQL COUNT function is used to count the number of rows in a table. It can work with numeric and non-numeric data types. The SQL SUM function is used to calculate the sum of selected rows of a specific column. It works with numeric data types only. The SQL AVG function is used to calculate the average value of selected rows of a specific column.
