Kristy McMorlan Photography visits the Southern Oregon Coast’s Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor. Named for the first superintendent of state parks in Oregon. Known for its sea stacks and beauty Samuel H. Boardman is the place to visit. With approximately 27miles of hiking trails there’s lots to see and do with an extraordinarily rugged coastline. You’ll discover several natural arches and bridges along the twelve mile stretch of the Southern Oregon Coast, just north of the town of Brookings. The Thomas Creek Bridge, located in the corridor, is the highest bridge in the state of Oregon, and you will find towering cliffs alongside the ocean just off Highway 101. Sitka Spruce trees also dot the landscape, and the extraordinarily rugged coastline is worthy of a trip.
