Police in Kenya have used tear gas to disperse anti-government demonstrators on the streets of the capital Nairobi. The violent protests have left 23 dead. President William Ruto has abandoned his controversial finance bill and planned tax rises, after protestors stormed parliament on Tuesday. Peter Herbert, retired Judge and the former Lead Counsel at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda explains.
