How to install requests in Visual Studio code #requestslibrary
Hey my friends welcome to Joey'sTech.
In this video I will show you how to install requests library in Visual Studio Code that too in the easiest way and the most correct way possible.
If you have been struggling to install the Requests library in a light-weight code editor like VSCode then you have landed at the right video.
In this tutorial video I will show you
1. How to create a folder and open it in Visual Studio code - You will learn to create a python project folder and open it in Visual Studio Code in which you will install the requests library.
2. How to create a virtual environment - You will also learn how to create a virtual environment within the python project folder created in step and activate it for use. I want you to memorise this command by heart as you will have to create virtual environment first before installing any package when you work in corporate IT companies.
3. Pip install requests - Finally, you will learn to install the requests library in this virtual environment using the pip command. You'll see that the installation of the requests library happens in flash
4. Test the installation of the requests library - You will learn to develop a simple program importing requests to test its installation. The program will simply be printing the URL and status code of the response.
I highly recommend that you follow along with me to perform the installation of requests in Visual Studio Code as it will be easier for you to install it.
