Idiom of the Week:
“hit the road”
Meaning: to begin a journey or trip, or to leave
Ex: “Well, I’m going to hit the road. I’ll see you later!”
Review: Using "will" for predictions
Practice: I'll show a photo of a country's flag circled. You'll have a moment to make a question like, "Will England win?"
Learn: Using "going to" for the future
Practice: I'll show a picture of a verb. You'll have a moment to make a sentence using "going to."
Conversation Practice:
Hey, will you be at the game?
No. I’m going to study for my test.
Oh, what test?
I have a math test tomorrow.
