2009 Volkswagen Routan 3.8L V6 WOT 0-60
Quite possibly this might be the most reliable Volkswagen out there due to the fact VW had nothing to do with its assembly. The 3.8L is kinda slow nowadays but it was very reliable. The Chrysler 6 speed auto in these is basically the only thing to be worried about ( change it’s fluid every 30k & you’ll be fine ). Personally, I would approach 2011+ Chrysler Vans which are equipped with Pentastar V6 as standard. While it is more refined and more powerful, they’ve got a reputation for being big tickers at least all the way up to 2018. Also steer clear of the 4.0L V6 offered between 2008-2010 as they’re also another story.
