Officially, there are still three post offices throughout Germany. Everything else has been integrated into Swiss Post's shop system since the 1990s. Letters and parcels are available in kiosks, clothing stores or even in shops for legal cannabis products. But do the shops make money with the post or with the trappings? And why are branches with Postbank closing? mex clarifies.
