Did you know that over one third of the recall incidents in the food industry are due to undeclared ingredients on the package? Not only do companies pay a dear price in money and reputation following such incidents, but they also expose consumers to a life-threatening situation. Labelling “may contain” is becoming less and less acceptable, and for good reason. Food allergy sufferers have the right to enjoy food as much as anyone else.
