While Carolyn was working in a restaurant in Seattle curating pieces for an art walk (many of which were her own), she was zapped with the realization that she needed to make big changes in her life—a feeling that she says was thrust upon her. She migrated to Seattle to start what would eventually become Blue Cone Studios, an artist collective dedicated to curating, protecting and promoting all forms of art.
