"Crimson Dawn: A Star Wars Story" dives deep into the dark corners of the galaxy, exploring the rise and complex intentions of the infamous crime syndicate Crimson Dawn. Led initially by Darth Maul and later taken over by Qi'ra, this syndicate was more than just a criminal empire. Crimson Dawn’s true purpose, as hinted in Charles Soule's comic trilogy, was to amass power and resources to challenge the Sith. With Maul’s hatred for his former master, Darth Sidious, and the trauma from the death of his brother Savage Opress, his vendetta against the Sith fuels Crimson Dawn's rise. Qi'ra, played by Emilia Clarke, inherits Maul’s desire to dismantle the Sith power, setting her on a collision course with both Darth Vader (portrayed by Hayden Christensen) and Darth Sidious (brought to life by Ian McDiarmid) in her relentless pursuit of justice.
This live-action trailer features some of the galaxy’s most iconic figures. Darth Maul, reprised by Ray Park, emerges as a dark, formidable leader whose past still haunts the present. His protégée Qi'ra finds herself at odds with the Sith, using Crimson Dawn as a tool for rebellion and revenge.
