When Does Amazon Pay You? | Amazon FBA Disbursements | How to Request Payment
HOW and WHEN does Amazon PAY YOU the money you have made from selling on Amazon. As an FBA seller, you should know how long it takes for Amazon disbursements to be paid so that you can manage your cash flow. You should also be aware of how to manually request a disbursement payment from Amazon as you do not need to stick to their standard 2-week payment schedule.
How long does it take for Amazon to pay you? When you sell a product on Amazon FBA the proceeds will go into your Amazon account balance, this money is unavailable for disbursement until at least 7 days after the product has been delivered to the customer date.
This will be referred to as the actual delivery date, unlike FBM sellers for who it may be based on their estimated delivery date (EDD). The money in your Amazon account is available for disbursement the morning after the 7 days have elapsed.
By default, Amazon will disburse payment to your bank account via bank transfer (BACS) every two weeks, it is possible to manually request disbursements as frequently as every 24 hours. I would recommend paying yourself from Amazon at least once per week - this will help with cash flow and also prevent too much money building up in your Amazon account.
