Throughout this 3 part project series, we are going to build a Link Shortener app using Svelte Kit and PocketBase. I believe those to be the perfect combination to quickly build a small to medium project.
In this video, I'll cover all setup and configuration we'll need to start up the project, including setting up the Svelte Kit app, creating our collections in the PocketBase database, setting up and configuring a test mail server, and configuring them all together to work coherently.
Svelte Kit is a powerful tool for building web applications with a simple and intuitive syntax, and in this video, I demonstrate just how easy it is to use. PocketBase, on the other hand, is a complete self-hosted solution for small to medium-scale websites and apps.
