Andrea DoSouto, a Spanish street photographer, was an adventurous child who always wanted to be in the center of the action. Growing up in the Galicia region in northwest Spain, she was surrounded by drugs and poverty in her small town. Today, she uses photography to capture street subcultures that others may overlook. That includes skateboarders, which she says are a subject that represent the freedom and passion she craved growing up.
