The Windows Media Creation Tool is primarily used to create installation media (such as a USB drive or DVD) to perform a clean installation of Windows. It doesn't have an option specifically for creating a Windows Installer package (.msi file). To create an installer package, you'll need different tools like Windows Installer or a third-party installer creator. . Here, in this video, we are using Windows media creation tool and Rufus.

Rufus is a popular utility for creating bootable USB drives from ISO images. It is not specifically designed for creating Windows installers, but it can be used for that purpose. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create a Windows installer using Rufus:

Note: Before proceeding, make sure you have a valid Windows ISO file and a USB drive with sufficient storage capacity (at least 8GB).

1. Download and install Rufus: Visit the official Rufus website (https://rufus.ie/) and download the latest version of Rufus compatible with your operating system. Once downloaded, run the installer and complete the installation process.

2. Launch Rufus: After installation, launch Rufus from your desktop or Start menu.

3. Select the USB drive: Rufus will automatically detect your USB drive. If you have multiple USB drives connected to your computer, make sure to select the correct one from the "Device" dropdown menu in Rufus.

4. Choose the Windows ISO file: Under the "Boot selection" section, click on the small disk icon next to the "Create a bootable disk using" option. Browse and select the Windows ISO file you want to use for creating the installer.

5. Configure Rufus settings: Leave the default settings in most cases, as Rufus usually selects the appropriate settings automatically. However, you may need to adjust a few options depending on your requirements. For example, you can change the partition scheme to "MBR" or "GPT" if needed, or select the file system as "NTFS" or "FAT32" based on the requirements of the target system.

6. Start the creation process: Once you have reviewed and adjusted the necessary settings, click on the "Start" button to begin the process. Rufus will display a warning message that all data on the USB drive will be destroyed. Make sure you have a backup of any important data on the USB drive before proceeding.

7. Wait for the process to complete: Rufus will format the USB drive and copy the contents of the Windows ISO file onto the drive. The time required for this process may vary depending on the size of the ISO file and the speed of your USB drive.

8. Use the USB drive as a Windows installer: Once Rufus completes the process, your USB drive will be ready to use as a Windows installer. You can now insert the USB drive into a target computer and boot from it to start the Windows installation process.

Remember to change the boot order in the target computer's BIOS settings to prioritize the USB drive so that the system boots from it.

That's it! You have now created a Windows installer using Rufus.
