I've lived in my neighborhood for five years. Every single day, without fail, a lovely elderly couple would walk by my house, at the same time every single day. They'd reach the stop sign at the end of my block, then turn around and walk back home. The love and compassion they shared for each other was truly beautiful. They held hands and smiled at each other, still in love, decades after being married. It touched me deeply. To the point, that I would wake up every day and drink my morning coffee while waiting for them to walk by.
One day they didn't walk by... and I had to investigate why.
