COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING 2006, LSU: Closing Clip from promotional video, produced for the COE's Development Office in 2007 by C.F Anderson. The video features 2006 Commencement speaker, Mrs. Phyllis M. Taylor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Energy Company LLC, and the Chairman and President of the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation.
Mrs. Taylor's deceased husband, Patrick F. Taylor, graduated in 1959 from LSU in Petroleum Engineering.
Mr. Taylor developed and promoted what became known as the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS), which was adopted in Louisiana in 1998. TOPS provides academically qualified students with state-paid tuition to college.

In 2007, the building which houses the College of Education and Business Administration (CEBA) on the LSU campus was renamed in honor of Taylor and all his accomplishments.
