Hello happy friends, look at these landscapes... they are mountains, some seem to reach the sky and others are so high that when we climb them they allow us to see landscapes as beautiful as this one.
Now, look at these other landscapes, there aren’t any mountains, they are flat and that's why we call them... plains. Today we are going to learn about the mountain and plain landscapes.
We all know that mountains are huge elevations of land, they look rather like a saw, don’t you think. AND several mountains together form a mountain range.
Mountains have three parts: the summit, the slope and the foot.
The summit is the highest part, the slope is the central part, and the foot is the lowest part of the mountain.
Many rivers start in the mountains, but when they are forming they are narrow and carry little water, although the water does flow verryyyy quickly.
In the mountains people tend to live in small villages and the roads leading up to them are narrow and winding.
