In this video we teach you how to setup echo dot 4th generation.The 4th generation echo dot is the newest generation of echo dot devices and has updated electronics and a new spherical shape with a forward facing speaker.
The Echo Dot 4th generation is a smart voice assistant that allows you to ask the device questions, play music, play games or control smart home devices.
To setup and install the echo dot 4th generation do the following:
1. If you purchased the device directly from Amazon or from an Amazon store the device will be automatically pre registered to your Amazon account. Amazon scans a bar code on the back of the device to connect that serial number device to your account. Having the device pre registered makes setup easier as it will automatically populate during setup.
2. If you have not already download the Alexa app do so and login with your amazon account information. If you already have the Alexa app login and leave the app open durring setup.
3. With the app open plug the Echo Dot 4th generation in with the provided power cord.
4. The app will show a pop up for the Echo Dot device. Click continue to setup and install the Echo Dot 4th generation and follow the in app instructions.
