Google launched their latest LLM Gemini to compete with OpenAI's GPT series. We run through a few random tests that show it to be pretty promising, then explore a few reasons you might want to use Gemini. From the lower safety thresholds to the cheaper "vision" capabilities, Gemini is a worthwhile contender!
