Mystery transmission of COVID 19 (droplet vs airborne infection in a Restaurant in China)!
In this video I describe how the virus was transmitted to several members in a Chinese Restaurant in Guangzhou. This occurred in January of 2020 were 3 families got infected by the initial index patient who was initially asymptomatic, or rather pre-symptomatic.It explores whether coronavirus was transmitted by droplets, air-borne the air conditioner or indirectly.The initial index patient was later admitted to a local hospital with SOB and fever.Other family member got infected either by patient A1 or by other family members.
ANSWER:
Most likely through droplet transmission prompted by the air-conditioner.Aerosol tend to follow air flow.Lower concentrations of aerosols might have been insufficient to cause infection in other parts of the restaurant.
