USB mics have their own internal sound card to get rid of the external one. Besides, a large part that you paid for a USB mic is for its sound card. At last, even if you just want to give it a shot and your USB mic happens to be the right one that has a headphone jack that can send an analog signal to an audio mixer or interface, it just doesn't outperform the sound quality going straightly out of the USB connection.

But for PlayStation gamers who can't find a way to have third-party voice-changers apps enabled on the console party chat, it may be worth to take a look at this mixer with a cheaper XLR mic combo.
