EXPLOSION WITH TRAILS - UPDATE - HOUDINI 18.5 SPARSE SOLVER VERSION - Tutorial now live
Hi all,
Since a lot of you requested an update to my original explosion with trails to sparse version, this video is to demonstrate that. I have finally managed to update it to sparse version while keeping almost all stuff from original video and also added a few new elements houdini 18.5 has to offer.
Sidefx off the shelf explosions are great but to me they seemed a little slow because they are large scale explosions.
In my version, all explosions are high velocity small explosions.
Rendering is done using blender cycles and not redshift as I haven't cracked it yet. But, I will update if I managed to so.
