New Equipment - Unifi Replacement?
In this video, I simply unbox some new equipment I've received from TP-Link. I have no prior experience with this equipment and I've read very limited articles about it. These are my genuine first impressions.
Also, I have no idea what happened with the audio at 7:00. I apologize for the crazy change in quality, but there was nothing I could do about it.
I do not go into any configuration in this video and I don't provide any real information outside of what I'm able to see from the equipment and included manuals. This is merely a preview of more videos to come.
The TP-Link Omada equipment is marketed at small to medium businesses as a centralized IT solution. It is an SDN product that utilizes a controller in exactly the same manner as Unifi. It will be my mission to find out how it stacks up against already established equipment I deal with on a daily basis.
Full disclosure: I was sent this equipment from TP-Link at no cost with the understanding I will be making a few videos that feature these products. I will be doing tutorial-type videos as well as reviews. I would like to make it clear that I am under no obligation to speak favorably or unfavorably about this equipment and I promise to give my honest opinion regardless of the circumstance.
