The Hague tram network is a great example of a developed public transport system! The Hague is 3rd largest city in Netherlands, and trams are a crucial part of its public transport system. The Hague tram system is served by older BN GTL8, modern Siemens Avenio type trams, and suburban Alstom Citadis Regio type trams that are used on the RandstadRail lines. The Hague new trams (Siemens Avenio) are replacing the older GTL8 trams. Tramway system in The Hague is operated by the HTM Personenvervoer NV (Haagsche Tramweg Maatschappij).
