I am very glad to announce that I'll be going back to my roots and will send Steven Universe content to represent rhe Federal Republic of Germany on the second #Dubovision to be held this May in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana! 🇸🇮
On this occasion I chose a dub I find both musically and lyrically beautiful. The German title of the song, “Dem weiten weißen Strand”, translates to “The white beach that is far away”.

The Dubovision Song Contest – inspired by the Eurovision, Winxovision and American Song Contests– is a fan-held competition of countries focused on their dubbing industry, especially related to their proficiency at songs. A total set number of entries (all suggested by the community) will compete in 2 semi-finals where every user gets to vote for their 10 favorite contestants, and the 10 countries that receive the most points classify for a grand final. Then, the process repeats itself, but this time to decide the winner instead!
