Avid quick tutorial: dealing with audio tracks in grouped clips
When you create a group clip (think multicam for instance), how Avid handles the various audio tracks that come with each can be confusing. Here's an overview of the basic rules and tips for making sure the audio tracks you end up with in your edits are the ones you wanted.
Important tip: it is MUCH easier in the long run to take the time to set this up correctly at the START when you first create your group, than it is to try to fix it after you've already done your editing and are trying to change which tracks are in your sequence.
