Funding For Improved Centrelink Security Announced After Acts Of Aggression | 10 News First
There have been 9000 acts of aggression at Service Australia centres, including Centrelink locations, over the past year.
Funding has been announced to improve the safety of workers, with $314 million committed over a two year period to protect more than 6200 staff around the country.
The money will fund 606 security guards, better security features at all centres and an operation system with live monitoring capability.
