If you’re an online course instructor, you might want to teach online live classes sometimes. With the help of Tutor LMS, you can create online classes live with Zoom. In this tutorial, we’ll see how to create and take online live classes on WordPress with Zoom in tutor LMS.
Tutor LMS allows you to conduct live online classes using Zoom. If you have a course, you can add a Zoom live online class on your WordPress site. First you have to enable the Tutor LMS Zoom integration from Tutor LMS, Addons. Also note that you need Tutor LMS Pro in order to get the premium addons including Zoom integration.
The Tutor LMS WordPress plugin gives you the option to connect your Zoom app with the plugin itself. Previously, we had to use the JWT app to connect to our Tutor course. But JWT has been deprecated. That’s why in this tutorial, we’re going to show you how you can conduct online live classes with Zoom using the server-to-server oAuth app.
We will also see how you can create and start a live class as the host and how students can join the class from your Tutor website. As the host, you do need to have a Zoom account in order to conduct a live class. You can install the Zoom desktop app in order to conduct live classes but it’s not compulsory. You can also conduct the class from the Zoom web app. Same thing applies to the students.
