How to release stuck tripod head (fluid or ball) from legs or slider mount
I've had this problem many times before so I thought I'd take a few minutes to make this video which solves this common issue once and for all!
Put simply, instead of tightening the heck out of everything and forcing the head's arm with constant power, give it a few quick smacks. This jolts the head from the tripod with ease! Worst case, use WD-40 to loosen the seized connection. A combination of these strategies helped me get the head off my tripod legs!
