Void hunter got quite the nerf this season with their radar changes, so much so that I thought I would never want to use void hunter again but then I got the best sidearm to pair with a void hunter that I could possibly find and now I am loving it again.
That sidearm is Fioritura-59 and it is perfect to pair with void hunter and gyrfalcon. It's also great for pve in Destiny 2 as well as PvP because of the constant up keep of volatile rounds. I'm sure you've seen people making these types of builds before but this is my version using my favorite type of gun.
