A few years ago I became acquainted with Tommy Sotomayor's channels, and after watching a few videos the main thought was "How long has he been going in that manner and why haven't African American shut him down by now?" The whole thing was so incomprehensible to me. A few months later I came across an intelligent video by Divine Mommy in response to Tommy Sotomayor's stance on single mothers, and on seeing how she wanted to engage him further, I realized that things were going to go downhill from then. I wanted to contact her to dissuade but felt that she was a mature enough Youtuber and knew better than engage him. I couldn't have been more wrong.
I put this video up to support her if she found the hassle she was getting too much to bear. It isn't as though I have any original stuff here it would hurt me to lose. I have put it here to pressure the more intelligent, more responsible, mature African American males into doing something to shutdown the toxic, psychically destructive influences that African-American youth and females are exposed to in the media. That kind of male is probably not involved in this rear end of the social media environment, if he is involved in social media at all. So if you have some male relative who knows nothing about the trash floating on the surface hereabouts, get him to watch this video see the destructive, demoralizing stuff here, and get him to act on it. The guy at the top of their list should be Tommy Sotomayor, and they should be uncompromising and ruthless about it. As long as Tommy Sotomayor is around this video stays up.
One more thing, I am a British guy, not American, but even from the UK this stuff is too much for me to bear, and this is why I have decided to put in my input. I will put up a more detailed entry on my blog later.
