A list of all the things I use in my workflow that helps me move faster
"Workflow" - see, that's one of the fancy words they use in LA to sound serious
Anyways, the shortcuts are -
Ctrl + C to copy
Ctrl + V to paste (these are universal and you can paste from premiere into an after effects sequence
Right click over footage to send it to an after effects composition
Ctrl + X to cut
X for rate stretch to change speed and fill in blanks
Right click on footage to scale to frame size (gets rid of black space)
Transcode your compressed DSLR footage to an easier codec before working with it (quicktime pro res 422 on MAC... don't even know about premiere, just don't use h.264 ((honestly, its your preferance)
Hold Shift and press A to click on everything to the right of the mouse (just press A with no shift to select one track at a time)
Drop Audio Effect - Denoiser on audio and pull down individual parameter to get rid of weird fuzz in background
(After this I just moan about staying organized)
