What is NextJS and why learning NextJS will be helpful to us ReactJS developers?
If we visit the official site of nextJS we can learn that they call it The React Framework for the Web. But I personally would like to call it the full stack framework for ReactJS.
But isn't’ ReactJS already a third party library? It is library because it only focus on the user interface part, components, state, props. If building large applications you will need more external libraries like routing, authentication and so on.
But NextJS is a framework that builds up on React and enhances React. The framework in comparison to library is larger, and focuses on more features and gives guidance how to build your code and structure the files.
NextJS makes developers life easier. It builds on react and enhances it by adding more core features that otherwise you need to add to ReactApps on your own, like routing. And because of this you don’t need to use more third party libraries and reinvent the wheel.
Next.js is a free and open-source React-based web framework that allows developers to build server-side rendered applications with ease. It was created by Vercel, and it has gained popularity among web developers for its ability to simplify the process of building modern web applications.
