In this tutorial, I will explain what makes up a scale, why melodic minor scales can be challenging, and walk you through the steps of practicing your scales to improve them for auditions.

*Please note: My playing is not perfectly in tune and does not represent a perfect performance. As a full-time public school orchestra teacher with a family, practicing has not been my priority. This serves as a reminder that no matter how skilled you are, without regular practice, you won't achieve amazing results. Everyone must practice to play well. My goal for this tutorial is to demonstrate the steps to practice effectively and efficiently.
