Renix Jeep XJ Starts Then Dies | Ballast Resistor Delete
Working on my 1989 renix jeep cherokee xj again. This issue I was having is the jeep would start but then die right away and I stopped hearing the fuel pump prime when turning the ignition on. So I think I traced down the issue with the fuel pump ballast resistor. Deleted it from the jeep and the issue seems to have been resolved. Hope this helps you out.
