I watched a bunch of Mirabeau Studios' videos and loved how he animated characters and made them feel "alive" and "flowy" and just wanted to see if I could replicate it.
I also wanted to see if I could give MMD models "realistic" shadows while maintaining the "shadeless" nature of the character's face (since they often look terrifying when having "realistic" shading due to the models' topologies.) I did this by experimenting with the model's normals. So far, I'm liking how the results are looking.
Still think I have some further adjustments to do before it looks "perfect" though. If you have any advice to give for 3D animations and shading, I'd love to hear 'em!
