Saramonic SR-HM7 Dynamic Microphone Review (VS Shure SM58 and Sennheiser E835)
Today, I have the Saramonic SR-HM7 Dynamic Microphone in the Audio Hotline Studio! As per usual I put this microphone through a ton of tests and I also put it up against the classic Shure SM58 and Sennheiser E835 (this happens toward the end of the video, TIMESTAMPS below). This mic is meant for interviews, presentations, podcasting, and spoken word in general. I was excited to try this out, considering it could be a good alternative option for podcaster and YouTubers around the $100 price tag with it being a handheld dynamic microphone. A lot of handheld dynamic microphones around this price are meant for live singing vocals, so it was nice to see another option for spoken vocals in this form factor!
The most important thing is that if this mic works for you! So be sure to check out the testing and audio samples and see if this is right for you! Every person has different expectations of audio gear. If the features are what you need, and you like the sound, then it is right for you!
