Design education, particularly the business side of it, is very close to my heart and something I am passionate about teaching other graphic designers.
Let me introduce you to (if you don't already know him) another awesome person who's just as jazzed about this as I am: James Martin, a.k.a MBJ, a.k.a Made By James. He's not just a top-notch designer and a best-selling author; he's a force for good in the design education world.
James has made it his mission to sidestep the gatekeeping, fluff and overpriced crap that plagues the design education space. He’s all about keeping it real—with his no-nonsense approach, he provides an educational space that is built for real designers, created by real designers and supported by real designers.
James and I share a lot in our philosophy towards design education. We believe there are no magic shortcuts or quick fixes. It’s all about putting in the effort, learning from your boo-boos, and having a shitload of patience. So, let's dive in and get our hands design-dirty!
