We want to do a VLOOKUP in UiPath, and that's very easy with the new UiPath 2021.10 features. Almost no code and just drag-n-drop. What's not to like? We are doing the VLOOKUP in Excel through different sheets.
1:29 Preparations in UiPath
Make sure you'll use the Modern Design Experience in UiPath. Then you'll have the updated Excel activities. It's the old StudioX ones, and they're fantastic. Make sure you choose VB and not C#. Read your Excel book with the Excel Process Scope and Use Excel File.
5:12 Do a VLOOKUP for each row in the Excel sheet
We use a For Each Excel Row activity to do a VLOOKUP for each row in our Excel sheet. Choose the range where your base values are. Remember to specify your sheet has headers. Use the VLOOKUP activity and set the value to look up (CurrentRow and then column where your value is), In Range (the range where you want to find the value), Column Index (what value do you want to get back), take an Exact Match and then specify where you want to save the retrieved value.

We want to color our current cell if we retrieve certain values back from our VLOOKUP.
