China has the most billionaires on Forbes' 35th annual World's Billionaires list. China had a record-setting year with 626 newcomers and 53 returning members to this year's roster of almost 1,500 people who have at least $1 billion in assets or hold majority stakes in companies that add up to an individual net worth of more than one billion dollars. In addition, China is only second behind America as it now holds 724 total billionaires compared to their U.S. count of 1496 which brings its combined tally for both countries well over 2000 individuals worldwide.
