For today’s test, I used my go-to honey cake recipe (which you can find on my Instagram and YouTube channel). Before, I had to caramelize the honey on the stove, but with the mixer’s built-in induction heater, I can skip that step. Thanks to the built-in scales, I can add all the ingredients directly into the bowl without pre-weighing them. The induction cooker and stirring attachment then take over and do all the work for me.
Once the mixture is heated, I just add baking soda and let it stir for another minute.
Next, I switch to the dough hook attachment, which incorporates the flour and kneads the dough for me.
Once the dough is ready, I pop it into the fridge for an hour, then roll out the cakes, bake, and stack the layers as usual!
