1 man dies, another injured after their rafts capsize on the Roaring Fork River
One of the two men rescued from the Roaring Fork River in Basalt after their boats capsized Saturday afternoon has died.
The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office said a 911 call was made just after 2 p.m. stating that the men's rafts had overturned at the Basalt Whitewater Park and the men were being carried downstream.
