How to format Strings in Java; Intro to Java (full course) Lesson 2 Video 5
This series of videos is suitable for programmers with minimal (or no) programming experience who want to learn Java. In this video, we will dig into String formatting using String.format and printf. We'll look at formatting numeric output to a specific precision, creating tables, and other options such as putting a sign in front of a number.
There is a suggested (free) book below that you could read along with the videos lessons. However, the video is very straightforward and can also stand alone or accompany any other introductory Java textbook. Let's have some fun learning to program in Java!
