In this video entitled, Lingmoor Fell Landscape Photography, I photograph my first-ever cloud inversion from a mountaintop. Lingmoor Fell in the Lake District to be precise.
My alarm was set for 04:00 and the walk started just 25 minutes later. It was a cracking morning. It was pleasantly warm and very still. In fact, I would go as far as saying the conditions were just perfect! Just for the record, the warm conditions weren't the main reason for me sweating though 😁😁
Whilst hiking up we noticed the cloud below us stirring. Could this be my first ever could inversion? Spoiler alert, It was!
The thing is, things didn't quite turn out as good as I had hoped. Is there such a thing as too much cloud inversion?
